Host sponsored by SABIC, ESF MENA – Middle East Energy & Sustainability Forum will take place in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 16-18 October 2023. ESF MENA provides a unique platform to support the collaborations, discussions, and development of a sustainable energy future in which the Middle East’s downstream industry continues to play a leading role.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has long played a central role in the international energy market, helping drive global economic growth and development. It is now ushering in a new era as it aims to reach Net Zero by 2060. This announcement is in line with the wider Vision 2030 ambitions, a sustainable vision for Saudi Arabia's future, to accelerate the energy transition, achieve sustainability goals, and drive a new wave of investment.

Sabic is leading the way in achieving these goals: in 2021, it announced a public commitment for all its operations to become carbon neutral by 2050. The pledge is a statement of intent and a marker that will henceforth orient all its efforts to combat the most pressing issue of our time: climate change.

The Kingdom’s Vision 2030, together with Sabic’s sustainability and decarbonisation vision and strategy, provide the perfect backdrop for ESF MENA's next edition, the only dedicated Downstream Decarbonisation and Sustainability Conference in the Middle East.
