BCCK and Carbon Clean sign agreement to deliver carbon capture solutions across the US
BCCK and Carbon Clean will collaborate to provide Carbon Clean’s semi-modular CaptureX technology to customers across the US. Priority sectors include oil & gas production, gas processing, air separation, power generation, landfill gas, biogas, and hydrogen.
Carbon Clean’s CaptureX technology is a cost-effective alternative to open-plant construction. The solution is 80% modularised and containerised, which significantly cuts installation time and simplifies integration with customers’ existing industrial operations.
The combination of BCCK’s experience in gas processing, as well as developing and commercialising technology, and Carbon Clean’s expertise in carbon capture, provides a specialised offering tailored to hard-to-abate industries. Through the MOU, BCCK and Carbon Clean will enable customers to accelerate progress towards industrial decarbonisation, while addressing the growing need for energy while minimising emissions.
Aniruddha Sharma, Chair and CEO of Carbon Clean, said: “The opportunity to decarbonise is compelling, with carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) a crucial lever in the clean energy transition. Partnerships are key to accelerating the development and deployment of low-carbon solutions. Our collaboration with BCCK delivers tangible business and decarbonisation benefits through providing a proven alternative to open-plant construction, deployed in 49 sites globally.”
Kevin Blount, CEO of BCCK, said: “BCCK is excited to leverage its 40 plus year pedigree in gas processing to partner with Carbon Clean and deliver innovative solutions in support of the energy transition. The combination of Carbon Clean’s proven technology with BCCK’s integrated engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and field construction services, is a natural fit for our clients’ decarbonisation goals.”
