Arcadia eFuels teams up with Krüger Veolia for first eFuels facility
Arcadia eFuels has chosen Krüger Veolia, part of Veolia Water Technologies (VWT), to support the completion of the FEED (Front-End Engineering and Design) with their expertise in water upgrading for Arcadia’s first commercial eFuels facility. The first of its kind facility will be located in Vordingborg, Denmark with FID (Final Investment Decision) targeted for the end of 2023. The project will produce approximately 100 million litres per year of sustainable eDiesel, eKerosene, and eNaphtha using renewable electricity, seawater and bio CO2.
Krüger Veolia is the leading specialist in seawater desalination, boiler feed water preparation, water treatment, and wastewater treatment. They will provide technical advice and assistance to Arcadia in process design, project design, tendering, site management/supervision, and testing/commissioning, as well as the delivery of selected installations for the establishment of a process water treatment plant and a wastewater treatment plant. The consultancy framework agreement will support the completion of the FEED for our first project in Vordingborg, Denmark.
Jeroen Moors, Technical Director of Arcadia eFuels said: "Their expertise in process and plant design for water handling will be invaluable to the success of our sustainable eFuels production project."
